Peyton Manning holds Tennessee's football program record for most wins by a starting quarterback all time. He compiled a 39-6 record for the Vols from 1994-97.
Manning went 22-2 in home games at Neyland Stadium, 13-3 in road contests and 4-1 in neutral-site matchups. In 45 games at Tennessee, he completed 863-of-1,381 passing attempts for 11,201 yards, 89 touchdowns and 33 interceptions.
Manning led the Vols to a 1997 SEC championship and was the No. 1 overall pick in the NFL draft by Indianapolis in 1998.
13 starting quarterbacks have won 15 games or more in Tennessee's program history: Manning, Casey Clausen, Erik Ainge, Andy Kelly, Condredge Holloway, Joshua Dobbs, Tee Martin, Bobby Scott, Jeff Francis, Heath Shuler, Dewey Warren, Alan Cockrell
