Rylie Theuerkauf transferred to Tennessee from Georgia following the 2025-26 basketball season.
The 5-foot-9 senior guard represented the Lady Vols at SEC basketball media day on Tuesday at Hotel Wildemont in Birmingham, Alabama.
“Tennessee had a lot of reasons why I wanted to play here," Theuerkauf said. "I mean, ever since a little kid, a little girl, that's where you dream of playing at is Tennessee. All the history and everything with Pat Summitt.
"Then just when I really got to meet Kim (Caldwell) and come on the visit, I fell in love with her and her ideals and her program. Yeah, it's been history ever since."
Theuerkauf transferred to Georgia from Wake Forest ahead of the 2025-26 season. She appeared in 32 games, including 31 starts, and
averaged 11.9 points, two rebounds and 1.1 assists per contest at Georgia.
During Theuerkauf's three-year career at Georgia and Wake Forest, she has appeared in 91 games (57 starts). She has totaled 843 points, 139 rebounds, 86 assists, 58 steals and 10 blocks.
