Daevin Hobbs enters his fourth season at Tennessee in 2026.
The 6-foot-4, 290-pound defensive lineman has appeared in 31 games, including one start, for the Vols from 2023-25. His first career start was at defensive tackle versus Illinois in the Music City Bowl to conclude the 2025 campaign.
Hobbs has recorded 64 tackles, seven tackles for a loss, four sacks, two pass deflections and one forced fumble.
He is one of 10 Vols who are returning for a fourth season at Tennessee in 2026. The senior is joined by tight end Ethan Davis, linebacker Arion Carter, running back DeSean Bishop, defensive lineman Tyree Weathersby, defensive lineman Nathan Robinson, linebacker Jeremiah Telander, wide receiver Jack-Henry Jakobik, wide receiver Nathan Roberts and offensive
lineman Shamurad Umarov.
Hobbs' career high for tackles in one game is nine against New Mexico State on Nov. 15, 2025.
He is from Jay M. Robinson High School in Concord, North Carolina. Hobbs committed to Tennessee over Georgia, Alabama, North Carolina, Ohio State and Michigan.
He was also named to the Fall SEC Academic Honor Roll in 2023 and 2025.
