The 2026 college football season enters Week 4.
Through three starts, Tennessee freshman quarterback Faizon Brandon has completed 41-of-64 passing attempts for 552 yards and six touchdowns. The 6-foot-4, 225-pound freshman has recorded 137 rushing yards and three touchdowns on 26 attempts.
Following Week 3, ESPN released updated Total QBR ratings for Football Bowl Subdivision quarterbacks.
Adjusted Total Quarterback Rating values a quarterback on all play types with a 0-100 scale that is adjusted for the strength of opposing defenses faced.
Brandon and No. 13 Tennessee (3-0) will open SEC play Saturday against No. 1 Texas (3-0). Kickoff between the Vols and Longhorns is slated for noon EDT at Neyland Stadium (ABC).
Texas senior quarterback Arch Manning
has completed 60-of-97 passing attempts for 664 yards, seven touchdowns and two interceptions. The 6-foot-4, 222-pound senior has also recorded 80 rushing yards on 20 attempts.
