Tennessee head coach Josh Heupel announced Monday senior tight end Ethan Davis will miss the remainder of the 2026 football season with an ACL injury.
"A few guys during the course of play that, you know, may have been out for a little bit or didn't finish, but hopeful for most of those guys," Heupel said. "Obviously, Ethan Davis, ACL injury, will be gone for the remainder of the year."
The 6-foot-5, 247-pound tight end appeared in two contests this season for the Vols. He recorded three receptions for 43 yards and two touchdowns.
Davis appeared in 24 games, including four starts, for the Vols from 2023-25.
He totaled 36 receptions for 390 yards and four touchdowns during his first three seasons at Tennessee. Davis' longest reception was 40 yards.
He led the Vols in receiving yards for tight ends (257) in 2025.
