Houston announced roster moves on Tuesday ahead of opening its 2026 NFL season Sept. 13. The Texans released former Tennessee defensive lineman Dominic Bailey and center Ka'ena De Cambra from their practice squad.

Houston also signed center Gavin Gerhardt and quarterback Mark Gronowski to its practice squad.

Bailey was signed to Houston's practice squad on Aug. 31 after being waived by the Texans following a 53-man roster cut deadline on Aug. 30.

He played for the Vols from 2020-25, appearing in 55 games (25 starts).

Bailey recorded 77 tackles, 12.5 tackles for a loss, eight sacks, one pass deflection, two forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries during his collegiate career.

Houston will host Buffalo in its season opener Sept. 13 at Reliant Stadium
