No. 14 Tennessee (4-1, 1-1 SEC) will next play Saturday at Arkansas (2-3, 0-2 SEC) in Week 6.
Kickoff between the Vols and Razorbacks is slated for 4:15 p.m. EDT. SEC Network will televise the matchup at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Sophomore quarterback George MacIntyre will start for Tennessee against Arkansas, according to Pete Thamel of ESPN.
"Sources: Tennessee will start George MacIntyre against Arkansas this weekend," Thamel announced. "It’ll be his first career start. Faizon Brandon is dealing with a shoulder injury from the Texas game."
Brandon is No. 90 nationally with a 48.2 QBR in five starts. He has completed 61-of-101 passing attempts for 697 yards and seven touchdowns. The 6-foot-4, 225-pound freshman
has recorded 130 rushing yards and three touchdowns on 53 attempts.
MacIntyre replaced Brandon in the second quarter against Auburn in Week 5. He completed 8-of-10 passing attempts for 86 yards.
