Buffalo (2-0) defeated Detroit (1-1), 41-31, on Thursday at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, New York. 60,644 were in attendance for the NFL Week 2 game.
Former Tennessee wide receiver Joshua Palmer recorded one reception for a 43-yard touchdown from Buffalo quarterback Josh Allen in the first quarter. The former Vol was targeted three times.
Allen completed 20-of-31 passing attempts for 248 yards and three touchdowns.
Dalton Kincaid led the Bills in receptions (seven) and receiving yards (95). He scored one receiving touchdown and was targeted eight times. Dawson Knox also scored a receiving touchdown against the Lions.
James Cook III led Buffalo with 135 rushing touchdowns, while scoring one touchdown.
Palmer also scored a game-winning 34-yard
touchdown in Week 1 at Houston.
He appeared in 47 games at Tennessee from 2017-20. The former Vol totaled 99 receptions, 1,514 receiving yards, seven receiving touchdowns and one rushing touchdown.
