Tennessee junior linebacker Edwin Spillmanwas named to the 2026 Allstate AFCA Good Works Team.
He is one of 11 FBS players to be named to the team. The junior is also a semifinalist for the Wuerffel Trophy.
The Allstate AFCA Good Works Team recognizes college football players for their leadership in community service, academics and athletics. Established in 1992 and presented by Allstate since 2008, it is one of college football's most prestigious honors for community impact.
Spillman was selected from a group of 162 nominees by a panel of former Good Works Team members, college football coaches, journalists and other leaders. He is the first Tennessee player to be named to the AFCA Good Works Team since Jerod Mayo since 2007.
A member of the Vols'
leadership council, Spillman has committed more than 120 hours to community service while using NIL resources to support the Wan Fambul Foundation, which assists families and children in Sierra Leone. His charitable work includes supporting food security, education, housing projects and child welfare initiatives.
