Minnesota (1-0) will travel to Chicago (1-0) on Sept. 20 in Week 2 of the NFL season. Kickoff between the Vikings and Bears is slated for 1 p.m. EDT at Soldier Field in Chicago, Illinois (Fox).
Wide receiver Jauan Jennings
made his debut with Minnesota in Week 1. He was targeted one time and did not record statistics in a, 39-22, win against Green Bay (0-1) at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota.An initial injury report was released Wednesday for the Vikings-Bears game in Week 2. Jennings did not participate in practice on Wednesday for the Vikings because of a personal reason.
Linebacker Blake Cashman (wrist), quarterback Kyler Murray (concussion), offensive tackle Brian O'Neill (knee) and linebacker Andrew Van Ginkel (chest) were also
listed as limited participation for Minnesota's practice on Wednesday, according to NFL transactions.
Jennings played at Tennessee from 2015-19 under head coaches Butch Jones and Jeremy Pruitt. He appeared in 48 games for the Vols and recorded 146 receptions for 2,153 yards and 18 touchdowns. The former Vol also recorded 93 rushing yards and one touchdown on 25 rushing attempts.
San Francisco selected Jennings in the seventh round (No. 217 overall) in the 2020 NFL draft.
