Tennessee will open its 2026 football season Saturday at Neyland Stadium. The Vols will host Furman (1-0) at 3:30 p.m. EDT and the nonconference matchup can be watched on SEC Network+.
Richard Cross (play-by-play), Max Starks (anlayst) and Ashlyn Sullivan (sideline) will be on the call.
Saturday will mark the third meeting all time between Tennessee and Furman. The Vols lead the football series, 2-0, dating to Sept. 20, 1941. Both contests were played in Knoxville.
Tennessee defeated the Paladins, 32-6, in 1941, while defeating Furman, 52-7, on Oct. 24, 1942.
Tennessee's 2026 season opener will also mark a 28th consecutive sellout at Neyland Stadium, dating to Sept. 17, 2022.

Tennessee has a 97-26-6 on-field record in season openers all time and a 96-26-6 NCAA record in season openers. The Vols' 2020 season opener was vacated by the NCAA.
