Chaz Lanier totaled five points, three rebounds and two steals for the Pistons in 14 minutes. He converted 1-of-4 field goal attempts, 1-of-4 three-point attempts and 2-of-4 free throw attempts for Detroit, who will next play Friday at Washington. Tipoff is slated for 7 p.m. EDT at Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C.
Cade Cunningham, John Collins, Ausar Thompson and Paul Reed scored 10 points each for the Pistons.
Kennedy Chandler recorded eight points, one rebound and one steal in nine minutes for the Suns.
Devin Booker scored 13 points, while
Dillon Brooks and Jalen Green scored 11 points each for Phoenix, who will next play Wednesday at Chicago. Tipoff is slated for 8 p.m. EDT at United Center in Chicago, Illinois.
