Tennessee offered a scholarship to 2030 football prospect Braylen Mathis.
"Blessed to receive an offer from the University of Tennessee," Mathis announced.
The 6-foot, 165-pound wide receiver and defensive back is from Grace Christian Academy in Knoxville, Tennessee.
Grace Christian Academy (6-0, 4-0 Division II-AA East Region) will host Sevier County High School (Sevierville, Tennessee) on Thursday at Jerry Disney Family Sports Complex in Knoxville, Tennessee. Kickoff is slated for 7 p.m. EDT.
Sevier County (5-1, 3-0 Region 1-5A) won a 5A state championship in 2024 and were state finalists in 2025.
Mathis has appeared in six games for the Rams during his freshman season, totaling 20 receptions for 380 yards and nine touchdowns. He also appeared in four
games for Grace Christian Academy during his eighth grade season, recording six receptions for 77 yards and one touchdown.
Mathis also has scholarship offers from Ole Miss, Auburnand Louisville.
