Connecticut (11-33) played its final game on Thursday. The Sun defeated Toronto (11-33), 95-81, at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut. 8,911 were in attendance for the WNBA regular-season finale.
Connecticut will move to Houston for the 2027 WNBA season.
Former Lady Vol Isabelle Harrison started and recorded a double-double on Thursday for Toronto. She recorded 19 points, 10 rebounds and one steal in 23 minutes. Harrison converted 7-of-12 field goal attempts and 5-of-7 free throw attempts.
Kiki Rice led the Tempo with 28 points in 31 minutes.
Ashlon Jackson was Connecticut's leading scorer with 18 points. Hailey Van Lith led the Sun in rebounds (nine) and assists (eight).
Raegan Beers also scored 17 points for Connecticut, while Aaliyah
Edwards totaled 16 points in Thursday's season finale.
Connecticut led for 66 percent of the game and its largest lead was 17 points.
The Sun qualified for the WNBA playoffs in 15-of-21 seasons in Connecticut.
