Tennessee (1-0) and Georgia Tech (0-1) will renew their football series on Saturday in Week 2.
The Vols and Yellow Jackets' nonconference matchup is slated for 7 p.m. EDT at Bobby Dodd Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia. The contest will be televised by ESPN.
Tennessee leads the all-time football series against the Yellow Jackets, 25-17-2, dating to Nov. 22, 1902.
The Vols defeated Georgia Tech, 42-41 in double overtime, on Sept. 4, 2017, in the last meeting at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia.
Ahead of Saturday's contest, Tennessee has a 76.5% chance to win, according to ESPN's Matchup Predictor. Nolan Analytics also projects the Vols to defeat Georgia Tech, 28-24, at the beginning of game week.
Georgia Tech opened its season with a, 14-13, home
loss to Colorado (1-0) on Sept. 3. The Vols defeated Furman (1-1), 56-9, in Week 1 at Neyland Stadium.
