Offensive lineman Darnell Wright is in his fourth season with Chicago in the NFL. He started in the Bears', 59-37, season-opening win against Carolina (0-1) in Week 1 at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Chicago (1-0) will next play Minnesota (1-0) on Sept. 20 in Week 2. Kickoff between the Bears and Vikings is slated for 1 p.m. EDT at Soldier Field in Chicago, Illinois (Fox).
An initial injury report was released Wednesday for the Chicago-Minnesota game. Wright did not participate in the Bears' practice on Wednesday (knee), according to NFL transactions.
He played at Tennessee from 2019-22. Wright appeared in 47 games, including 42 starts, totaling 2,746 offensive snaps.
The former Vol was selected by the Bears in the first
round (No. 10 overall) of the NFL draft in 2023.
In August, Wright received a four-year extension with Chicago through 2031.
