The MAC appealed to the NCAA FBS Oversight Committee and the College Football Playoff to change the outcome of the Michigan football vs. Western Michigan. The Big Ten responded saying that the conference is standing by its officials.
And according to Yahoo Sports’ Ross Dellenger, the NCAA isn’t having it.
Dellenger spoke to the NCAA and said that the outfit claims that per its bylaws it doesn’t have the authority to overturn the outcome of a game.

The College Football Playoff also doesn’t have standing to overturn the
results of a game, but it could take the ebb and flow and circumstances in the final moments of the game into account when it does its seeding.
