Michigan football hosted a big list of top-level recruits for the Oklahoma game in Week 2, and not only did the Wolverines get the win, but the visit weekend also appears to be a big hit.
Among the top recruits to make it to Ann Arbor was 2028 Detroit (Mich.) Cass Tech safety LaMarcus Army, a four-star who's among the top safeties in the country in his recruiting class. Ranked highest by 247Sports as the No. 111 player in the nation, he's also the 11th-best safety according to the outlet.
He's rated a three-star according to Rivals, but that's the outlet that believes Army is likely to pick the maize and blue. He received a prediction from Steve Wiltfong on Wednesday morning that he'll end up committing to the Wolverines when the time comes.

Ethan McDowell of The Wolverine and fellow Rivals insider Allen Trieu both had put in predictions for Army in recent weeks. But Army isn't the only one to receive a prediction from Wiltfong in favor of Michigan.
Wiltfong also predicted the following 2028 prospects will land in Ann Arbor once everything is said and done:
- Fort Wayne (Ind.) Wayne four-star edge rusher Javontae Eldridge (No. 219 nationally, per Rivals Industry Ranking)
- Sicklerville (N.J.) St. Augustine Prep three-star safety Mekhi McNair (No. 248 nationally, per Rivals)
The Wolverines are also heavily trending with predictions to land:
- Saline (Mich.) three-star athlete Marquis Ray (son of Marcus Ray)
- Orem (Utah) four-star offensive tackle Mataio Fano
- Warren (Ohio) Harding four-star edge rusher Asa Burch (son of Alfie Burch)
- Orem (Utah) four-star edge rusher Major Stokes
The maize and blue currently have one pledge in 2028 in Alpharetta (Ga.) Milton kicker Ryan Jung.
