At 5-3, Michigan football isn't sniffing the polls these days, but this is a season of what could have been. The Wolverines have won or lost all of their games (but the Week 3 romp against UTEP) by one score, including the closer-than-it-should-have-been call against Rutgers this past week.

In the latest US LBM Coaches Poll, Michigan remained unranked, but still has two games against ranked opponents -- No. 5 UCLA and No. 10 Ohio State. Iowa is ranked 20th, and Indiana is ranked third.
