NASCAR is gearing up for the 36th race weekend of the 2026 season at Talladega Superspeedway, and the Truck Series is bound to put on a show. In 2025, Gio Ruggiero beat Corey Heim for his first win of the year. Now, the sport will head to New Hampshire with a substantial amount of money on the line.
The purse for the Truck Series race at Talladega will be $789,700 on Friday afternoon. NASCAR doesn't release the earnings for the winning driver anymore, meaning it's impossible to tell how much of the $789,700 will go toward the team in victory lane. Last year, the purse for Talladega sat at $782,900, which is a $6,800 increase.
It will be fascinating to see which NASCAR driver will earn the most money at Talladega this weekend. Ruggiero is looking
to go back-to-back in the race at Talladega, but Heim and Ty Majeski had good trucks in 2025. Talladega always puts on a show, and this weekend should be no different.
