Mick Schumacher is likely looking for a new ride ahead of the 2027 NTT IndyCar Series season. After Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing sold a charter to Dreyer & Reinbold Racing, it leaves Schumacher without a contract for next year. However, the former Formula 1 driver has been linked to an Indianapolis 500-winning organization.
Schumacher is likely one of the drivers on Meyer Shank Racing's radar, as reported by FOX Sports' Bob Pockrass. Meyer Shank Racing is looking to replace Felix Rosenqvist, who is leaving for Arrow McLaren after winning the 2026 Indianapolis 500 in the No. 60 car.
If Schumacher were to join Marcus Armstrong at Meyer Shank Racing, he would be in excellent equipment to compete for the 2027 Indianapolis 500. It has been a learning
curve for Schumacher in his rookie IndyCar season, but losing his ride at Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing could result in an upgrade.
