Mick Schumacher might be forced to find a new team for the 2027 NTT IndyCar Series season. On Wednesday, Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing agreed to sell one of its three IndyCar charters to Dreyer & Reinbold Racing. The sale still needs to be approved by IndyCar to become official.
With Graham Rahal and Louis Foster under contract for the 2027 IndyCar season, it leaves Schumacher without a ride at Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing. More likely than not, the former Formula 1 driver will have to find a new organization if he wants to stay on the IndyCar grid.
There are several rides available in IndyCar silly season, including Meyer Shank Racing and others. While Schumacher is likely losing his ride at Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing, there won't be a shortage
of options. For now, it appears that Schumacher must find a new ride.
