Formula 1 competed in Hungary, and it was a thrilling event. Lando Norris started on the pole, but lost the lead to Oscar Piastri in the opening corners. However, Piastri lost the lead and eventually lost his gearbox. However, was Norris able to make it to the finish without any issues?
Norris and the No. 1 team for McLaren won the Hungarian Grand Prix, earning their first victory of the 2026 Formula 1 season. The defending Formula 1 champion was able to pull away from second-place finisher Max Verstappen, winning by over 10 seconds in a very dominant performance.
Meanwhile, Kimi Antonelli extended his points lead after Lewis Hamilton and George Russell suffered issues throughout hte event. However, Norris stole the headlines on Sunday, and going
into the summer break, the McLaren driver hopes to make a massive push for a second straight championship.
