Corey LaJoie earned a top-10 finish Saturday at Kansas Speedway, driving from 20th to 10th in Kaulig Racing’s No. 10 Ram. LaJoie stayed out of the major trouble and used strategy to briefly place himself much closer to the front.
LaJoie was among the drivers who remained on track during the Stage 2 break, placing him fourth when rain interrupted the race. He lost several positions once competitors with fresher tires began moving forward after the restart, but maintained enough pace to hold a top-10 position through the finish. LaJoie completed all 134 laps and earned 27 points.
LaJoie is outside the Truck Series Chase and therefore cannot compete for the championship. Published post-Kansas standings list him with 274 season points, placing him 21st
overall. Kansas nevertheless provided one of his stronger finishes of the year as Kaulig continued its first Truck season with Ram.
