Brent Crews gave TRICON Garage two trucks on the Kansas podium, finishing third in the Race to Stop Suicide 200. Crews started fifth and remained around the front of the field as teammate Kaden Honeycutt dominated the 134-lap event.
Crews scored three points with an eighth-place finish in Stage 1 and stayed in contention through the weather interruption and numerous late strategy changes. He avoided the tire problems that affected several contenders during the closing laps and moved into third when Layne Riggs fell through the field. Crews finished 1.815 seconds behind Honeycutt and completed every lap.
Despite the podium result, Crews received zero Truck Series driver points because he was designated as ineligible for Truck championship points at Kansas.
The third-place finish therefore does not place him into the Truck Chase standings, although the performance remains important to TRICON Garage’s owner championship effort.
