Nick Sanchez’s Kansas race began from the pole but ended with a 28th-place finish after a late flat tire. Sanchez led the field to green alongside Jake Garcia but lost the top spot to Kaden Honeycutt on the opening lap.
Sanchez remained competitive through the stages, finishing fourth in both and collecting 14 stage points. His afternoon changed with four laps remaining when a tire went down and forced the No. 77 Chevrolet onto the apron. Sanchez lost several laps and positions before reaching the finish, completing 131 circuits. Stage points allowed him to still earn 23 points.
Sanchez is not one of the 10 drivers competing for the Truck championship. Kansas nevertheless significantly increased his limited-season points total, with current standings
showing approximately 40 points from his 2026 Truck appearances. The final position did not reflect the speed Sanchez showed through most of the race.
