There will also be a more stable front wing for superspeedways. Finally, IndyCar teams will no longer design dampers and will have options from a single-source supplier. It is widely viewed as an efficient way to improve the racing during the 2028 IndyCar season and beyond.

IndyCar hasn't debuted a new car since the 2012 season, so this is very highly antipciated. The series has done several improvements over the last decade, including a halo and hybird system. Now, teams and drivers are being given a new car, and it should improve the racing starting in 2028.
