Daniel Hemric continued his steady Truck Series Chase with a fourth-place finish Saturday at Kansas Speedway. The McAnally-Hilgemann Racing driver started 12th and steadily worked his No. 19 Chevrolet into the lead group.
Hemric collected stage points throughout the afternoon, finishing seventh in both Stage 1 and Stage 2. He remained on the lead lap through the lengthy rain delay and late sequence of cautions, then capitalized on Layne Riggs’ wall contact to move into fourth. Hemric completed all 134 laps and earned 41 points, one of the strongest totals among the championship contenders.
Hemric gained one position in the Chase standings and leaves Kansas sixth with 2,110 points. He trails championship leader Kaden Honeycutt by 87 points, but
is only five points behind Christian Eckes for fifth and one point ahead of Ty Majeski with five races remaining.
