Daniel Dye produced one of the largest position gains in the Kansas field, charging from 35th to finish 15th. The McAnally-Hilgemann Racing driver entered the race from the back row but steadily worked the No. 20 Chevrolet forward.
Dye earned two stage points by finishing ninth in Stage 2, then became part of the late strategy battle after staying on track during the final pit sequence. He briefly inherited the lead before Layne Riggs and Kaden Honeycutt moved past on fresher tires. Dye ultimately secured a top-15 finish after gaining 20 positions and earned 24 points.
Dye remains outside the Chase but improved his season total to 141 points, placing him 27th in the standings. He sits three points behind Spencer Boyd and 16 ahead of Parker Eatmon.
Considering the 35th-place starting position, Kansas represented a significant positive for Dye’s limited Truck schedule.
