NASCAR is finally returning to Canada. Earlier in the week, NASCAR announced the Truck Series will return to Canadian Tire Motorsport Park for the 2027 season. The race weekend will take place from September 3 to 5, with coverage on FOX Sports. It will also serve as the regular-season finale.
The Truck Series hasn't competed at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park since the 2019 season. The NASCAR level visited the 2.459-mile road course in Ontario from 2013 to 2019. NASCAR planned to return to Canadian Tire Motorsport Park in 2020, but the COVID-19 pandemic ended those plans.
Now, NASCAR is returning to Canada for the first time in the 2020s. The Truck Series always puts on a show at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, so its return to the schedule is very
exciting. The rest of the 2027 NASCAR schedule will be released in the short time and Canada will have a date.
