IndyCar starting lineup for race in Markham in August 2026

Markham is up next for the NTT IndyCar Series, and Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing will lead the field to the green flag. Louis Foster won the pole for the 2026 Ontario Honda Dealers Indy at Markham this weekend. Christian Lundgaard will join Foster on the front row for Sunday afternoon's event. It is Foster's first pole position of the 2026 season.

Scott McLaughlin and Marcus Ericsson will follow the two drivers on the second row. Most notably, Kyle Kirkwood, Felix Rosenqvist, Pato O'Ward, Marcus Armstrong, Will Power, and Josef Newgarden all qualified 15th or worse for Sunday's event. Several drivers, including Newgarden and Alex Palou, suffered issues that hurt their starting position.
