Todd Gilliland brought the No. 34 Front Row Motorsports Ford home 19th Sunday at Kansas Speedway. Gilliland started 20th and spent much of the afternoon around the middle portion of the running order.
The race was relatively straightforward for Gilliland compared with teammate Noah Gragson, whose engine failed early in Stage 2. Gilliland avoided the major incidents, stayed on the lead lap and gained one position before the checkered flag.
The 19th-place finish earned Gilliland 18 points. He is not competing in the 16-driver Chase, so the Kansas points affect only his overall season standing rather than the championship fight. With Gragson finishing last and Front Row teammate Zane Smith ending the afternoon 31st, Gilliland provided the organization
with its best result of the day.
