NASCAR is returning to Phoenix Raceway for the 2027 season. On Wednesday, Phoenix announced its race dates for the 2027 season, and it is more of the same. In March, NASCAR and the NTT IndyCar Series will compete at the venue on the same weekend. The NASCAR O'Reilly Series and IndyCar will have a doubleheader on Saturday, March 13.
The NASCAR Cup Series will compete at the venue on Sunday, March 14. Then, NASCAR returns to Phoenix for Chase races on October 22-24. The NASCAR Truck Series opens the weekend on Friday, with the O'Reilly Series on Saturday. Finally, the Cup Series closes out the action on Sunday, October 24.
The 2026 NASCAR season is the first year since 2019 that Phoenix won't host the season finale. The sport is expected to rotate
the championship finale, so there is a chance that it returns in the future. For now, NASCAR is ready to take on Phoenix in March and October during the 2027 season.
