NASCAR took Corey Heim's No. 67 car to the R&D Center after the Cup Series race at Darlington Raceway. Following a disappointing run at Darlington, the sport conducted a closer inspection of Heim's vehicle; however, did the 23XI Racing driver receive any penalties?
Heim's No. 67 car had no issues at the NASCAR R&D Center, which is the best result from further inspection. In previous years, NASCAR has found issues that cost a race team and driver over 100 points and more, so Heim receiving the green light is excellent news.
The 23XI Racing driver isn't full-time in the Cup Series, so the penalty wouldn't greatly impact him as it would other drivers. The driver of the No. 67 Toyota for 23XI Racing was still given an all-clear from the R&D Center,
as the team prepares for his first full-time season in 2027.
