Hill appears to be the leading candidate to drive the No. 33 car for Richard Childress Racing during the 2027 Cup Series season, as reported by FOX Sports' Bob Pockrass. With Jesse Love going to Wood Brothers Racing, Hill remains the only Richard Childress Racing driver in the NASCAR O'Reilly Series as an option.
The 32-year-old driver has performed well under difficult circumstances while being competitive in the O'Reilly Series.
Hill has turned himself into a very strong candidate for Richard Childress Racing. While replacing Busch won't be easy, Hill has earned the opportunity to drive the No. 33 car full-time in 2027.
