The NASCAR Cup Series competed at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, and it was a unique event. The 36 drivers were forced to start on wet-weather tires following a short delay, leading to Kyle Larson winning Stage 1 and Ryan Blaney winning Stage 2. However, which driver was able to hoist the lobster in victory lane?
Blaney and the No. 12 team for Team Penske won the Dollar Tree 301 at New Hampshire on Sunday, earning their third victory of the 2026 Cup Series season. The Team Penske driver was forced to hold off a hard-charging Bubba Wallace, while Josh Berry had the fastest car in the closing stages of the race.
Ultimately, Blaney was able to hold on despite having the slowest of the three cars. The driver of the No. 12 car did lead 115 laps and
used his two-tire strategy to build a big lead on the final green-flag run. It was an unconventional race, but Blaney went back-to-back in similar fashion at New Hampshire.
