NASCAR is bringing the Clash back to a familiar place. Earlier in the week, NASCAR announced that Daytona International Speedway will host the Clash during the 2027 Cup Series season. The exhibition event will take place on Saturday, February 13, 2027. It will be the night before the Super Bowl.
The Clash will also have a new sponsor for 2027. It will be the Wheatley Vodka Clash. This is a new multiyear partnership with NASCAR, Daytona International Speedway, and Wheatley American Vodka, which has been named the Official Vodka of NASCAR. In 2025, it was called the Cook Out Clash.
In 2021, NASCAR held its final Clash at Daytona, but it was held on the road course. Now, the sport will hold the Clash on the oval configuration at Daytona. This is an
amazing decision by NASCAR, as the Clash belongs at Daytona and one week before the Great American Race.
