The NASCAR Cup Series competed at Iowa Speedway, and it was a major victory for a Joe Gibbs Racing driver. Ty Gibbs and the No. 54 team won the 2026 Iowa Corn 350 at Iowa, earning their second victory of the 2026 Cup Series season. However, did Gibbs and the No. 54 car pass post-race inspection at Iowa?
Gibbs's No. 54 car passed post-race inspection, and no cars will be taken back to the R&D Center, NASCAR announced on Sunday night. It was an impressive victory for Gibbs, who was able to hold off Christopher Bell despite taking two tires on the final pit stop sequence.
While Bell had the best car, Gibbs didn't make a mistake over the final 40 laps. It was a very impressive run for the driver of the No. 54 car, who now sits second in the point
standings. Gibbs earned his second career Cup Series victory and it won't be his last.
