Andres Perez de Lara finished 24th at Kansas Speedway after starting 18th in the No. 44 Niece Motorsports Chevrolet. Perez spent portions of the race closer to the top 15 before slipping backward late.

Strategy put Perez inside the top 10 when rain stopped the race during the final stage, but that track position did not hold once the field returned to green. He eventually fell two laps behind the leaders and completed 132 of the scheduled 134 circuits. The 24th-place finish earned him 13 championship points.

Perez remains outside the Chase but continues to sit inside the top 20 in overall points. He leaves Kansas 16th in the season standings with 388 points, 15 behind Brenden Queen and 42 ahead of Corey Heim. The Kansas finish cost him ground

relative to Tanner Gray and Queen in the non-Chase standings.
