Kyle Larson wins NASCAR Cup Series race at Kansas in 2026 Chase

The NASCAR Cup Series competed at Kansas Speedway and it was the Kyle Larson show. Larson won the first two stages and led a track record 235 laps; however, was it enough to enter victory lane? The driver of the No. 5 car was passed by Chase Briscoe in the final run, but it didn't last for long.

Larson and the No. 5 team for Hendrick Motorsports won the Hollywood Casino 400 at Kansas, earning their second victory of the 2026 Cup Series season. The Hendrick Motorsports driver passed Briscoe in the closing laps when it looked to be over. The No. 19 car had the most speed until it fell off in the final laps.

Needless to say, Larson deserved to enter victory lane on Sunday, and it came with another prize. Larson has a 26-point lead over Denny Hamlin

in the Chase standings with Christopher Bell sitting 50 points back in third place. Larson has taken control of the Chase, and that is a bad sign for the field.
