Christian Eckes has the talent to make a significant run for the 2026 NASCAR Truck Series championship; however, the reliability of the No. 91 truck is the most important factor. Despite sitting fourth in the standings, Eckes and McAnally-Hilgemann Racing have faced reliability issues throughout the 2026 season.
The driver of the No. 91 truck has suffered several mechanical issues during the 2026 Truck Series campaign, including Lucas Oil Raceway last weekend. At this point, Eckes is fighting TRICON Garage driver Gio Ruggiero for the No. 4 seed in the Chase instead of competing for a top-3 spot.
