Alpha Prime Racing will be supported by a different manufacturer in 2027. Earlier in the month, Alpha Prime Racing announced that it will switch from Chevrolet to Ford for the 2027 NASCAR O'Reilly Series season. The organization plans to keep multiple full-time entries for next year's campaign.
Brennan Poole and Lavar Scott are the current full-time drivers for Alpha Prime Racing, but it is unclear if either will return to their respective entries in 2027. More details about Alpha Prime Racing's driver lineup and other plans will be announced at a later date.
This is a massive move for Alpha Prime Racing, as it could be Ford's top organization in the O'Reilly Series. Ford's presence in the O'Reilly Series significantly decreased in 2026, but will
be boosted for 2027. Alpha Prime Racing hopes the change can bring more speed to its cars next season.
