Rajah Caruth is fighting hard with two races remaining in the 2026 NASCAR O'Reilly Series regular season. Caruth sits 14th in the standings with a 20-point deficit to the Chase bubble. Despite running part of his schedule with Jordan Anderson Racing, the JR Motorsports driver is in the hunt.
With two races left, Daytona International Speedway might ironically be Caruth's best opportunity. The O'Reilly Series race at Iowa might be the one where drivers have the most control, but even the unpredictability of Daytona can't limit how strong Caruth and the No. 88 team are on superspeedway tracks.
It will be a difficult road for Caruth against Sam Mayer and the Joe Gibbs Racing drivers, but Daytona might be the most important race for him. While Caruth has
to stay in touch with the other drivers at Iowa, this figures to go down to the final second at Daytona to make the Chase.
