NASCAR is gearing up for the 37th race weekend of the 2026 season at Martinsville Speedway, and the O'Reilly Series is bound to put on a show. In 2025, Taylor Gray beat Sammy Smith for his first win of the year. Now, the sport will head to Las Vegas with a substantial amount of money on the line.
The purse for the O'Reilly Series race at Martinsville will be $1,661,806 on Saturday evening. NASCAR doesn't release the earnings for the winning driver anymore, meaning it's impossible to tell how much of the $1,653,590 will go toward the team in victory lane. Last year, the purse for Martinsville sat at $1,651,939, which is roughly a $10,000 increase.
It will be fascinating to see which NASCAR driver will earn the most money at Martinsville this weekend.
Gray is looking to go back-to-back at Martinsville, but Smith and Brandon Jones and had good cars in 2025. Martinsville always puts on a show, and this weekend should be no different.
