Spencer Boyd worked his way from 33rd to 20th at Kansas Speedway, producing a 13-position gain for Freedom Racing Enterprises. Boyd started near the back and spent much of the afternoon navigating traffic.
The No. 76 Chevrolet avoided the Stage 3 crash and remained on the lead lap despite the pace being set by Kaden Honeycutt at the front. Boyd continued picking up positions as other competitors encountered tire problems and incidents during the final portion of the race. He completed all 134 laps and collected 17 championship points.
Boyd remains outside the Chase but moved his season total to 144 points, placing him 26th in the standings. He holds a three-point advantage over Daniel Dye and trails Frankie Muniz by 42 points. Kansas was a productive
afternoon considering Boyd started 33rd and finished ahead of several trucks that began much closer to the front.
