The North Carolina Tar Heels return to action this weekend following a bye week. The last time we saw UNC on the field was in Week 0, when they pulled off an upset, beating TCU 15-10 in Ireland.
With the win, it got the second year of the Bill Belichick off to a good start. Now, other coaches are potentially seeing what UNC can be this season.
On Tuesday, the latest US LBM Coaches Poll was released after the first weekend that had a full slate of games and while North Carolina was not ranked, they did find themselves in the "receiving votes" section. The Tar Heels received two votes from coaches in the poll, marking their first entry of the season.
UNC has a long way to go in terms of being ranked, but it's good to see them getting two votes after
