Steveson (4-0 MMA, 1-0 UFC) enters his second UFC bout. The undefeated Olympic gold medalist wrestler won his debut by stopping Elisha Ellison midway through the first round at UFC 329 in July.
Sharaf (4-2 MMA, 0-2 UFC) has been unfiltered on the mic when discussing Steveson. However, inside the octagon, he's 0-2 under the UFC banner, losing both fights by stoppage to Junior Tafa and Steven Asplund in the second round.

Speaking of the matchmakers' love for promoting large men, UFC 331's main card will also feature the polarizing Gable Steveson vs. Sean Sharaf.
Sharaf,
a Palestinian-American who proudly served his country in the Marine Corps, has been rightfully complaining about the disproportionate coverage Steveson is receiving despite the former Olympic gold medalist's history regarding his notorious involvement with a dropped sexual assault case in a Minnesota court.
Unfortunately for Sharaf (and I'm guessing many others), this fight will be decided on skills and athleticism, not the court of public opinion.
For that reason, I'll be siding with Steveson to show off even more of his skill set this Saturday by taking this fight to the floor and earning his first submission win in Round 2.
