The big boy battle Tuesday at Meta APEX was ended by who will likely become the first Senegalese signee in UFC history.
Senegal's Adama Diop reigned supreme in high-output battle against Russia's Zaurbek Sabanov, ending the fight by TKO at 2:13 of Round 2 at Dana White's Contender Series 94.
For what they lacked in skill, they made up for in effort. Diop (7-1) and Sabanov (4-1) went blow-for-blow. Sabanov even gave a few tongue-wags. However, it was Diop who would get the last taunt, as he danced and danced after stopping the fight standing with punches along the cage.

Diop, 31, comes to the UFC after stops in EFC and Hexagone.
Tuesday's win was his seventh finish in eight victories.
Sabanov, 28, who came through the ARES FC pipeline loses for the first time in his career.
