Razhabali Shaydullaev is a multi-organization champion after defeating A.J. McKee in the Super RIZIN 5 main event.
History was made on Thursday at Kyocera Dome Osaka in Osaka, Japan. Both the Rizin and PFL featherweight titles were on the line between the two elite competitors, but it ended up being a one-sided affair for the majority of 15 minutes, with Shaydullaev leaving with both belts.
Shaydullaev (20-0) failed to finish an opponent for the first time in his professional career, but he was largely dominant as he used a superior grappling and top control game to wear down McKee (25-3) and claim a unanimous decision by scores of 30-27, 30-27 and 30-27 in front of an announced attendance of more than 48,000 fans.

In the opening round, McKee clipped Shaydullaev with a forearm punch that took him off balance and forced a grappling exchange. Shaydullaev got top position and was able to ride out most of the round from half guard and side control, landing a few peppering ground strikes but nothing significant.
McKee tried to turn the tables in the second round with an early takedown attempt of his own, but Shaydullaev denied it and managed to win a scramble and end up on top. McKee struggled to get out from the bottom as Shaydullaev worked away, evening opening a small cut around the eye of his American foe.
Clearly down in the fight, McKee came out with some desperation in the final round. He threw big punches, but that gave Shaydullaev the opening he needs to get it back to the ground. McKee did his best to fend it off and even got a reversal into top position, but he couldn't do anything significant with it, and eventually Shaydullaev got the dominant position back. McKee managed to scramble back up to his feet late in Round 3, but he couldn't get the fight-ending shot he needed, and Shaydullaev emerged with victory to stay undefeated.
After the fight, Kyomo Aikmoto (13-1) entered the ring and challenged Shaydullaev for a future title fight, which CEO Nobuyuki Sakakibara expressed interest in making.
