What is the story about?
Check out this week's "Spinning Back Clique," MMA Junkie's weekly live show that takes a spin through the biggest topics in mixed martial arts.
This week's panel of Brian "Goze" Garcia, Nolan King and "Gorgeous" George Garcia will join host Danny Segura live at noon ET (9 a.m. PT) to discuss and debate the following topics:
- UFC Fight Night 286 gave the MMA world some big surprises. In the main event, Song Yadong closed the show with one of the biggest upsets of the year, as he became the first to knock out Umar Nurmagomedov. How big was this upset? How does this result change things at 135 pounds? What's next for Yadong? We break it all down.
- BKFC 92 took fistfighting to the Fenway Park. Our own Nolan King was in there to cover the two title bouts going down in the main and co-main events, along with former UFC veteran Joe Lauzon's bareknuckle boxing debut. We talk to King about his experience covering the event, and we review some of the BKFC 92 results, along with the general state of BKFC.
- Lastly, we look ahead at UFC Fight Night 287, which goes down on Saturday in Paris. This card features the debut of highly touted Salahdine Parnasse, who headlines against veteran Dan Hooker in a lightweight scrap. We discuss Parnasse's potential in the stacked lightweight division, plus we share our analysis and predictions for the bout.
